		Performs selected patient treatments under the general direction of the supervisor and/or staff physical therapist. Also prepares patients and equipment for treatment, helps perform the housekeeping and clerical duties of the department/facility, and performs other diverse duties as requested or required.
		Job Qualifications    Top
		Graduate of an accredited program of physical therapy assisting. Valid and current professional license, certification, registration or eligibility for license in states(s) where services are required. Professional competency as a general practitioner of physical therapy. Requires supervision from physical therapists according to state practice section. Ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts to supervisor, physicians, staff, patients, patient families, etc. a must.
