Job Summary    Top
Delivers quality speech and language pathology services to patients and contract facilities. Performs evaluations and assessments. Administers treatments and screenings. Documents services, provision of in-service education and other related duties as required. All services are provided in accordance with professional standards and within Mountain Land policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications    Top
  • Graduate from an accredited program with a master's degree in speech language pathology and have successfully completed the national certification examination for speech language pathology.
  • Must have current Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or be in the Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and must have a professional competency as a practitioner of speech language pathology.
  • Valid and current professional license in state(s) where services are rendered.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts to supervisor, physicians, staff, patients, patient families, etc. a must.
Physical Demands    Top
The position requires frequent lifting and standing for extended periods of time. The ideal candidate must be able to independently lift 50 pounds to handle equipment and resident transfer/transport. Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, balance, sit, kneel, hear, reach, pull, talk, see, carry, push, and write. The degree to which any of these is required depends on the techniques being used.
