Pool Therapy A water exercise program designed for kids with JRA, Fibromyalgia, chronic pain, chronic fatigue syndrome, and related conditions. It is not necessary to know how to swim to benefit from this class.

  Improve joint flexibility
If your child has a form of arthritis or related condition, your physician may recommend an exercise program to help improve their flexibility and lessen joint pain and stiffness.* Water exercise may be the answer.>

  Increase energy & strength
In addition to cushioning the impact of exercise, water is 12 times more resistant than air, allowing tripled strength gains over similar land exercises. Water also allows for a lower heart rate during exercise, so they'll burn more fat with less muscle fatigue. As a result, kids will increase their fitness level and have more energy for daily activities!

  Decrease pain & stiffness
Water exercise is especially good for kids with arthritis and related conditions because it allows them to exercise without putting excess strain on their joints and muscles. Although benefits of water exercise vary with each individual, most kids enjoy decreased pain and stiffness.

  Fun, friendly atmosphere
Our program provides a friendly and supportive atmosphere in which kids can make new friends and try new activities. This social interaction can help decrease feelings of depression and isolation. Increased fitness and mobility can also lead to greater independence and self-esteem.
