2017 Board Certified Specialists
Congratulations to Tyler Ellis, PT, DPT, OCS, Kyle Herauf, PT, DPT, OCS and Derrick McArthur, PT, DPT, OCS for becoming Board Certified Specialists in 2017! They join the ranks of 25 Mountain Land therapists who have become Board Certified Specialists.
To become board certified, therapists must first qualify to sit for a specialist certification examination. Holding a current license, having a minimum of 2,000 clinical hours in the specialty area, and the approval of a council established by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists are some of the eligibility requirements to take the test. Therapists must then pass the certification examination that tests knowledge and responsibilities in areas such as: Evaluation, Diagnosis, Prognosis, Intervention, Outcomes, Anatomy, Evidence Based Theory, and Movement Science.
