Brandon Stubbs, PT, DPT

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist

Brandon received his Bachelor at Southern Utah University and his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Eastern Washington University in 2006.

Brandon feels privileged to work in a small community, like Kanab, where he enjoys practicing and experiencing the different fields of physical therapy, including outpatient, acute, skilled nursing, wound care and home health with a primary interest in orthopedics and sports medicine.

Brandon is happy to be back in southern Utah where he can enjoy his outdoor passions for fly-fishing, spending time with his family, training horses and coaching wrestling.

Kathy Orf, PT

Physical Therapist

Kathy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Missouri in 1988. She also has a Master’s in Public Administration, Health Care Administration (MPA) and a Master’s in Education, Instructional Design (ME.d).

Kathy specializes in outpatient orthopedics. Passionate about listening to and understanding each of her patients, Kathy partners with them in creating their own individualized treatment plans. She believes in giving her patients the tools they’ll need to reach their goals and get back to participating in the activities they enjoy.

When not in the clinic, Kathy enjoys traveling, camping and hiking. After being a long distance runner, Kathy traded her running shoes in for hiking shoes and has hiked in the Himalayas of Nepal, the Patagonia mountain range, the South Island of New Zealand, the Tour du Mont Blanc, and the Grand Canyon.

Taran Wright, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Taran earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in 2020. He also holds several continuing education certifications from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).

Specializing in orthopedics, Taran strives to provide value for each of his patients at every interaction. He received extensive training at the Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, where he learned to provide the highest standard of patient care. Taran is passionate about truly listening to each of his patients and giving them the tools they need to improve their quality of life.

When not in the office, Taran enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities, from basketball, football, and baseball, to tennis, weight lifting, and hiking. He also loves relaxing at the lake or beach and spending as much time as he can with his family and friends.

Michelle Harward, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Michelle joined the Mountain Land team in 2016. She earned her Associates as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Provo College in May of 2016.

Michelle loves working with people and helping patients achieve their goals towards recovery. She’s passionate about making the process of therapy fun and enjoyable for her patients from start to finish. She believes the best approach is to treat each patient with compassion and listen to what they have to say first. She ultimately wants her patients feeling their very best so they can get back to doing the things they love.

In her spare time, Michelle loves the outdoors so she spends most of her time traveling, exploring new places or hiking her favorite spots.

Jana Quarnberg Occupational Therapist at Kanab clinic

Jana Quarnberg, MOT

Occupational Therapist

Jana has been a part of the Mountain Land team since 2016. She graduated from the University of Utah in 2009 with her Masters of Occupational Therapy. Jana gained additional training in Geriatric Occupational Therapy, with an emphasis on fall prevention and home safety, and sensory processing disorders and pediatric therapy interventions.

Jana strives to continually learn and gain skills in many different occupational areas in order to provide the best therapy to her patients. Her training includes shoulder rehabilitation, joint replacement management, and interventions to help older adults reduce disability. Jana is passionate about helping others regain independence, participate in meaningful activities, and find enjoyment in their lives.

When Jana is not in the clinic, she enjoys boating, camping, hiking, hunting and spending time with her three boys playing sports.
