Labor and Delivery Doulas
On this episode of The Mountain Land Pelvic Health Podcast, we sit down with Megan Heaton and Christin Carlson of Tiny Blessings Doula Services to talk about Labor and Delivery Doulas. We start the discussion by defining what a doula is and what role doulas play in a family unit, how they assist with prenatal education and labor and delivery, and wrap things up with information on how doulas can improve your pregnancy experience.
Meagan started her doula career in 2014 and has supported over 300 families in all birthing desires. She is DONA International Trained and Certified CD(DONA), Certified through the Midwives College of Utah as an Advanced Doula AD(MCU), Advanced Certified VBAC Doula AVD(TVL), and is a co-host of The VBAC Link/The VBAC Link Podcast. Christin started as a doula in 2016. She has completed training as an Advanced Doula and is experienced in Hypnobabies, Hypnobirthing, Birthing from Within and the Bradley Method. They are both experienced in Hypnobabies, Hypnobirthing, VBAC, unmedicated, medicated, inductions, C-sections and twins.
