Mark D. Anderson, PT, MPT, OCS

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist


A native of Salt Lake City, Mark D. Anderson graduated with his Master of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2003. He went on to earn his Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist designation.

Mark has an emphasis in manual therapy and spinal manipulation in his extremity and spine orthopedic care. He is a Running Rehab Specialist, is ASTYM certified, and is fluent in Spanish. Mark has learned firsthand the value and power of physical therapy with his own time as a patient in physical therapy being a weekend warrior. His treatment focus hinges on the importance of patient education and understanding of their condition, treatment plan and process, and clear expectations of his team and patients. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 kids, skiing, camping, running, HIIT training, basketball, and is an avid NBA and NFL junkie.

Joseph Schettle, Physical Therapist

Physical Therapist


Joseph graduated from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh in May of 2018 with his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on exercise and fitness. He continued to earn his Doctor of Physical Therapy from the Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in April 2022.
Joseph enjoys working with all populations of injuries, especially hips and shoulders. He strives to get to know each of his patients and believes each person that walks into the clinic is unique in their own way, which makes their physical challenges unique to them and their experiences. It is important to Joseph to listen to the issues at hand, problem-solve, educate, and challenge his patients so they can get back to doing the things they love.
Joseph spends his free time playing various outdoor sports such as volleyball, bouldering, biking, and kayaking. He also enjoys cooking and spending time with his cats.

Matthew Weber, Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer

Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer


Matthew completed his undergrad at Weber State University in 2019. He later graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Mary Baldwin University in Fishersville, VA in 2023. Matthew is also a Certified Athletic Trainer.

Matthew is passionate about helping people overcome their physical limitations so they can pursue their goals and passions. He has a broad range of expertise in physical therapy, and his philosophy is centered on helping people feel better and then stay better. Matthew believes pain is multifaced and should be approached in a variety of ways, and he is dedicated to working with patients as a team to achieve their goals.

Originally from Laie, Hawaii, Matthew’s interests and hobbies include hiking, traveling, soccer, and weightlifting.

Yuki Leavitt, Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist Assistant


Yuki has been a part of the Mountain Land team since 2014. He started as a Physical Therapy Aide and also worked in the Marketing Department before going on to earn his Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from Salt Lake Community College in 2017.

Yuki was inspired to enter the field of Physical Therapy while in recovery from his own sports injury. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Yuki utilizes his experience along with effective communication and education to help patients understand their condition and visualize their path to recovery. Yuki loves being able to help people feel better so that they can get back to doing all of the things they enjoy.

When he’s not in the clinic, Yuki enjoys riding his motorcycle, hiking, camping, river rafting, skiing, and just being outside.
