Mark Anderson, Physical Therapist

Mark D. Anderson, PT, MPT, OCS

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist

A native of Salt Lake City, Mark is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and received his Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Mark has an emphasis in manual therapy and orthopedic care, is a Running Rehab Specialist, and is ASTYM certified. He is fluent in Spanish and is specialized in Functional Capacity Evaluations for return-to-work and return-to-activity cases. He has been an invited lecturer for the Utah Association for Justice and Utah Trial Lawyer Association with regard to his personal injury treatment model and functional capacity testing. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 kids, skiing, mountain biking, running, weight training, and basketball. He is an avid NBA and NFL junkie.


Andrew Fast, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Andrew earned his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Franklin Pierce University in 2015. He has volunteered at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, worked with world-class runners in Mammoth Lakes, California, as well as raced and trained with elite level athletes.

In order to help his patients achieve their recovery goals, Andrew starts with clear and effective communication. Andrew believes that helping them understand the cause of their condition or dysfunction is key to helping them heal and recover safely. Andrew is an avid athlete who understands the common conditions and injuries his patients have gone through. He has worked with many patients with a variety of conditions such as adolescents with Cerebral Palsy, geriatrics with a high fall risk, and patients who’ve suffered a traumatic brain injury or stroke.

When he’s not in the clinic, Andrew spends his free time training as a professional triathlete and trail runner and traveling around the world.


Yuki Leavitt, PTA

Yuki Leavitt, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Yuki has been a part of the Mountain Land team since 2014. He started as a Physical Therapy Aide and also worked in the Marketing Department before going on to earn his Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from Salt Lake Community College in 2017.

Yuki was inspired to enter the field of Physical Therapy while in recovery from his own sports injury. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, Yuki utilizes his experience along with effective communication and education to help patients understand their condition and visualize their path to recovery. Yuki loves being able to help people feel better so that they can get back to doing all of the things they enjoy.

When he’s not in the clinic, Yuki enjoys riding his motorcycle, hiking, camping, river rafting, skiing, and just being outside.


Tom Nielsen

Tom Nielsen, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Tom earned his massage therapy degree from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in October of 2017. Tom is also certified in Reflexive Performance Reset, a type of body work that overrides the harmful compensations and habits our bodies create through strenuous exercise and day-to-day life.

Tom’s approach to the body is holistic, using Russian and Structural massage techniques to align the entire body, then putting emphasis on areas of pain. Tom believes that great manual therapy can make a huge impact on his patient’s lives, helping them get back to life and doing the things they love.

When he’s not in the clinic, Tom enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and their dog. They love to cook together, especially Mexican food. In his free time, he also enjoys coaching soccer and rugby, reading, and learning new things!
