Mark Anderson, Physical Therapist

Mark D. Anderson, PT, MPT, OCS

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist, Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist

A native of Salt Lake City, Mark is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and received his Masters of Science Degree in Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. Mark has an emphasis in manual therapy and orthopedic care, is a Running Rehab Specialist, and is ASTYM certified. He is fluent in Spanish and is specialized in Functional Capacity Evaluations for return-to-work and return-to-activity cases. He has been an invited lecturer for the Utah Association for Justice and Utah Trial Lawyer Association with regard to his personal injury treatment model and functional capacity testing. In his free time, Mark enjoys spending time with his wife and 6 kids, skiing, mountain biking, running, weight training, and basketball. He is an avid NBA and NFL junkie.

Danny Foerster

Danny Foerster, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Danny is passionate about helping his patients by treating the whole person, not just the injury. He specializes in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy, manual therapy, and running biomechanics rehabilitation.

Danny is a big believer that activity and movement make people happier and healthier, so he works diligently to help his patients increase their activity in their every-day lives. His goal is to get every patient to the activity level they desire, whether that’s to run a marathon or play with the grandkids.

Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Danny played professional soccer, and has since transitioned to endurance sports. When he’s not in the clinic, Danny enjoys cycling, skiing, hiking, and camping with his fiancé Vanessa.


Sam Maw, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Sam grew up in an Air Force Family and has lived all over the country, but has been a resident of Utah since 1995. He received both his Bachelor’s in Exercise & Sport Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Utah.

Sam joined Mountain Land in 2012. He enjoys treating orthopedic and sports medicine patients and believes in combining a hands-on approach with therapeutic exercise. He works with all patient populations and particularly enjoys working with runners. His goal in providing therapy is to help others get back to doing the things that they love.

When Sam is not in the clinic he is busy backpacking, camping, running, traveling, and spending time with his wife and sons.

Kim Kendall

Kim Kendall, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Kim graduated from Utah State University in 1988 with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree with an emphasis in Therapeutic Recreation and has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002.

Kim’s specialties include Biomechanics-Spinal Touch, Integrative Craniosacral Therapy, and Somatic Trauma/Emotional Release. Through these techniques, Kim is able to assess the restrictions of the musculoskeletal system within the body, calm anxiety and facilitate a release of the stress and tightness found within the muscle groups. Kim understands that stress, injury and disease take their toll mentally and physically, affecting overall health and wellness. Kim works individually with her clients to promote deep relaxation and stress relief that balances, restores and facilitates the body’s natural ability to heal.

Kim loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys biking, photography, art, reading, writing and sports.

Erica Lemke-Pembroke

Erica Lemke-Pembroke

Health Coach, Personal Trainer

Erica graduated from Chico State University in 1993 with a Bachelor of Arts in Physical Education with an emphasis in Kinesiology and a Master of Arts in Community Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. She specializes in kinesthetic awareness and functional movement and is a certified ACE Senior Fitness Specialist.

Erica is passionate about connecting with others and helping them become the best they can be. She believes that connection is paramount in becoming the catalyst for change, along with celebrating every victory, especially the smalls ones!

In her spare time, Erica enjoys being active, dancing, skiing, hiking, standup paddle boarding, playing tennis, traveling, reading and writing. She enjoys being outdoors with her family and taking advantage of all that nature has to offer.
