Mountain Land Physical Therapy West Jordan

The Mountain Land Physical Therapy West Jordan Clinic provides comprehensive physical therapy and rehabilitation services to West Jordan and the surrounding communities. Originally located on the Salt Lake Community College Campus, the West Jordan Clinic is now in a stand-alone facility that enables us to provide state-of-the-art care to all of our patients.

Some features of our new facility include new cardio, exercise and modality equipment, high speed video analysis of running gait and mechanics, and an open floor layout with ample space for exercise/functional training. We also offer many specialty programs including ASTYM, Hand Therapy and Custom Splint Fabrication, Pediatric OT Programs, Lymphedema Therapy, and Running Rehab.

Our providers pride themselves on excellent patient care and building lasting relationships with their clients. This comes in great part from our patients being able to see the same therapist on each visit throughout their course of care. Chris Lapray Physical Therapist

Christopher R. Lapray, PT, DPT

Clinic Director, Physical Therapist, Athletic Trainer

Chris received his doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2013 from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions after becoming a Certified Athletic Trainer at Southern Utah University in 2008. In addition to orthopedics, Chris has received extensive additional training and is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling. Chris also provides Vestibular Rehabilitation for vertigo and balance and falls management.

Chris enjoys working with his patients to help them find relief from pain and discomfort. Working one-on-one, Chris encourages results by setting goals and by making treatment fun and motivating. Chris’ background as an Athletic Trainer gives him a unique perspective in helping athletes through the Mountain Land Return to Sport and Running Medicine Programs.

Chris is a big fan of University of Utah sports. When he is not watching or attending a game he can be found golfing, fishing, hunting, skiing and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Deanna Clark Occupational Therapist

Deanna Clark, OTR, CHT, CLT

Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist, Certified Lymphedema Therapist

Deanna has been part of the Mountain Land team since 2005, and brings with her over 20 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist specializing in the upper extremities. She graduated from the University of Puget Sound in 1991 with her degree in Occupational Therapy and became a Certified Hand Therapist 1997. In 2011 she also became certified in treating Lymphedema.

Deanna has received extensive training in all aspects of the upper extremities including specific treatment for the thumb, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. She also specializes in custom splinting and myofascial release. She is experienced in evaluating and treating patients with cumulative trauma disorders, post-surgical conditions, traumatic hand injuries, and pediatric motor and writing difficulties.

Hailey Hudson Physical Therapist

Hailey J. Ryle, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Hailey earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science from Idaho State University, and went on to earn her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from University of Mary, located in North Dakota, in 2018. She is certified in Cupping Massage and has recently received her Pelvic Health Physical Therapy Level 1 certification. She has received special training in Pediatric Gait Analysis and Orthotic Management.

Hailey specializes in Pelvic Health, particularly pre- and post-partum and greatly enjoys working with the pediatric population. She is very passionate about educating the patient so they have a good understanding of not only what they are doing, but why. Hailey strives to help people gain the power to achieve their rehabilitation goals so they can get back to doing what they love.

When not in the office, you will find Hailey enjoying the outdoors with her family and two dogs – hiking, hunting, and fishing are her favorites. She also enjoys crafting with wood and paint!

Todd Banks Occupational Therapist

Occupational Therapist

Todd Banks earned his Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of Utah in 2019.

Todd has experience in hand therapy and pediatric therapy with a focus on handwriting development. He believes in a holistic approach in treating the “big picture” of what might be restricting someone from doing the activities they enjoy. Todd is passionate about caring for others and giving them the tools they will need to live a healthy lifestyle.

When not in the clinic, Todd enjoys playing soccer, spending time with family and friends, listening to music, and making crafts by woodworking, blacksmithing, etc.

Spencer Vickery Physical Therapist

Spencer Vickery, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Spencer Vickery received his bachelor’s degree in exercise and sports science in 2016. He went on to earn his doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Utah.

Specializing in orthopedics, Spencer is also experienced in treating post-operative procedures, neurologic conditions, and acute sports injuries. Spencer knows first-hand the benefits of physical therapy after suffering from multiple injuries while playing sports throughout high school and college. Through individualized treatment plans, he strives to connect with his patients and make each visit fun and positive. Spencer is passionate about helping his patients achieve their personal goals while making lifelong changes in their lives.

Spencer enjoys hiking, fishing, camping, powerlifting, cooking, following local sports teams and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Lauren Moulton Physical Therapist Assistant

Lauren Moulton, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Lauren earned her Associate of Applied Science Physical Therapist Assistant degree from the Salt Lake Community College in 2019. She first began working for Mountain Land in 2018 as a Therapy Tech while going to school before becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Lauren specializes in manual therapy for neck pain and headaches. She also has experience with post orthopedic surgeries, particularly for joint replacements, and has a special interest in balance training, pediatrics, and sports rehabilitation. Lauren is passionate about creating a positive environment for her patients. She believes in educating and utilizing hands-on therapy to help each patient achieve their individual goals and return to living happy, healthy lives.

When not in the clinic, Lauren enjoys rock climbing, hiking, working out, four-wheeling, camping, and playing sports!

James Hoppe Massage Therapist

James M. Hoppe II, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

James graduated from Aveda Institute of Provo, Utah and specializes in lymphatic facilitation, injury recovery, sports massage, pre-/post-natal, Swedish, Russian, and Reflexology.

James strives to set achievable and measurable benchmarks to help his patients reach their goals, whether it be recovery, overall wellness, sports related, or personal growth. After sustaining a work-related injury, James knows first-hand the benefits of massage and soft tissue manipulation. He is passionate about holistically treating each patient and helping them find personal wellness.

When he’s not in the clinic, James enjoys riding motorcycles and studying Jiu-Jitsu and wrestling at the University of Grappling in Orem, Utah.
